Tolian MSV70 used in the world's longest underwater high-speed railway tunnel
Publication Date:2024-05-16On May 16, 2024, on the Ningbo and Zhoushan sides of the newly built Ningbo Zhoushan Railway (Yongzhou Railway) Jintang Submarine Tunnel, two ultra large diameter tunnel boring machines facing each other across the sea simultaneously rotated their cutterheads, officially embarking on a journey across the sea, marking the official entry of the world's longest underwater high-speed railway tunnel-the Yongzhou Railway Jintang Submarine Tunnel-into the shield tunneling stage.
Tolian designed and manufactured two sets of MSV70 for this project and this batch of special transporters will serve as the main equipment for supporting ultra large diameter tunnel boring machines.
MSV70 will undertake the responsibility of transporting the box culverts from the ground storage site to the internal crane of the tunnel boring machine through the inclined shaft of the tunnel.
